Choosing the Right Filament for Your Project

Choosing the Right Filament for Your Project

PETG and PLA+ cover almost everything we make, and the choice usually comes down to one question: does this part need to survive heat and stress, or just look good and hold its shape?

PETG is our default for anything near water, near a window, or under real mechanical load — shower hardware, hooks, brackets. It flexes slightly before it fails rather than snapping, and it shrugs off the temperature swings of a bathroom or a hot car.

PLA+ is what we reach for on desk organisers, phone docks and anything purely cosmetic. It prints crisper, holds finer detail, and there’s no reason to over-engineer a pen holder.

Every product page lists which one we used, and why — if you’re ever unsure whether a part will hold up where you want to put it, ask us before you order.
