PETG vs PLA+: Picking the Right Material for the Job

PLA+ is our default for indoor parts — organizers, stands, anything that lives on a desk. It’s stiff, dimensionally accurate, and easy to get a clean finish on.

PETG comes in when a part needs to survive more: bathroom humidity, a car interior in summer, anything that gets dropped or flexed. It’s tougher and handles heat better, at the cost of a slightly less crisp finish.

We pick the material per part, not per product line — the shower head adjuster ships in PETG because it lives somewhere wet, while a phone stand for a desk ships in PLA+. The material used is always listed on the product page, so you know exactly what you’re getting.
